Japanese Manufacturer Nissan is going to launch their new SUV which will be based on the Nissan’s one of the most successful SUV Duster in the year 2014 in India.
The New Nissan SUV is expected to be showcased world-wide at Geneva Motor show to be held in 2013. With the success of Duster in India now Nissan expectations is high towards Indian market. The price of this Nissan new SUV is expected be around $36,000. It is expected that this SUV will be launched in both the petrol as well as the diesel version. The petrol version of the New Nissan SUV will be powered by a 1.2-liter petrol engine which gives around peak power of 113 Bhp output and 190 Nm of torque and with all these it offers you a promising fuel-economy of 17 kmpl with not more than 120 g/km of CO2 emissions similar to current Duster from Renault. While the Nissan SUV diesel will be powered by a 1.6-litre dCi which will give around 128 Bhp output and a promising fuel economy 21 kmpl and not more than 105 g/km of CO2 emissions.
The new Nissan SUV will have some noticeable differences as the Nissan badged Duster will have a refurbished bumper, new changed and redesigned front grille, also restyled fenders and headlights etc which will give the car a more stylish and unique look.
All of this feature’s it will be interesting to see how Nissan will be showcased in Geneva Motor Show and how much SUV makers appreciate it.
