One of the leading company in automobile industry worldwide headquartered in Mumbai, Maharashtra known as, “Mahindra and Mahindra” worldwide has launched a new edition of it’s most vehicle in the pick up vehicles named, “Mahindra Bolero Maxi Truck Plus” in the Indian market.
Looking at the success from the past edition of this vehicle company has launched this new edition with a target to high the sales and more popularity of this vehicle against all the other leading company whose are standing in the similar segment of Utility vehicle and pickup. Shifting the shaft towards it’s specifications and specifying it’s technical details, Mahindra bolero maxi Truck plus is powered by a 2.5 litre, 2,523 cc common rail diesel motor engine. This oil burner unit is BS IV compliant which will bolster it’s fuel efficiency and make a huge improvement as compare from it’s earlier edition and as per the company claim it will chunk out 17.7 kmpl approximately.
With this upgrade, the capacity of pick-up is also increased, this pick up is re-designed with an improved payload capacity of 1,150 kg, along with a bigger 40.6 square feet cargo box.
“The Bolero Maxi Truck Plus has been developed on Mahindra’s rugged Bolero Pick-up platform and is conceptualized to cater to the needs of urban goods transportation,” Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd Automotive Division Chief Executive Pravin Shah said here.
“The Indian pick-up market is growing more rapidly than ever before and Mahindra has been leading this category (2-3.5 Ton GVW LCV segment) with a 54 per cent market share in the last fiscal,” Mahindra & Mahindra Chief Marketing Officer Vivek Nayar said. He also added, “We clocked 41 per cent growth in pick-ups with sales of 1,02,885 units, last year. In the year ago period we had sold 73,134 units in the segment,” he said.
The Bolero Maxi Truck Plus comes with an introductory price tag of Rs. 4.33 lakh. The new variant will also meet the growing needs of current customers who want to upgrade and earn more, he said, adding “We are sure that the stylish new advanced Bolero Maxi Truck Plus will strengthen our pickup portfolio and help consolidate our market share in this segment.”
