A fully owned subsidiary of Tata Motors familiar to us as Jaguar Land Rover which is a popular and a well known brand of luxury car manufacturer across the globe has launched a new range of luxury car in the domestic automobile market. This new range is named as F-Type and it includes all new luxury sports car which includes is manufactured with amazing looks and a die-heart feature and specifications.
Currently, the new Jaguar F-Type will be launched in India with only two options of this series which are quite popular overseas. Out of the two options one will be the supercharged V8 S and the other will be the supercharged V6 S. Though the F-Type is offered in three different models overseas, each with an engine of its own. All three utilize an eight-speed automatic transmission.
Under the hood, for India the F Type V6 S is powered with 3.0 liter engine which is capable of producing 380 PS power and 460 Nm torque. Coming towards it’s high speed acceleration, it accelerates from 0 to 100 kmph in just 4.9 seconds. The highest or the top speed of this sports car is 275 kmph which makes the car super fast. The other variant which will be available in India, V8 S is boosts with 5.0 liter supercharged V8 engine producing 495 PS power and 625 Nm torque with a top speed of 300 kmph and 0-100 kmph time of 4.3 seconds.

Jaguar F-Type is a two door open top sports car, which was first seen at the 2012 Paris Motor Show in production guise. Attractive from every angle, the F-Type features adjustable suspension settings and adaptive dampers. The F-Type features an Active Exhaust system. Standard on the S and V8 S and optional on the base model, it features electronically controlled bypass valves in the rear section of the exhaust that open under hard acceleration, effectively providing a free-flowing straight-through arrangement. On the highway, the valves close to bring the volume down to a suitably moderate level.
The price of the base model will start from Rs 1.37 crore.
