Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MSIL), one of the well-known country’s largest car passenger maker, have launched it’s much awaited face-lifted Ritz hatchback in petrol version in the local market of India. The car will be available in four variants mainly as New Ritz Petrol LXi, New Ritz petrol VX (without ABS), New Ritz Petrol VX with ABS and New Ritz Petrol Zxi. Pricing for these variants starts from Rs. 5.15 lakh to Rs 6.24 lakh respectively.

Maruti Suzuki when decided to restyle the Ritz a list of factors were kept under consideration and worked over it diligently. The New styled Ritz is a combination of 52 new features which is quite nice. Pricing for these variants starts from Rs. 5.15 lakh to Rs 6.24 lakh respectively. The new Ritz boasts of a 1.2 Liter, 4 Cylinder, K series petrol engine which is capable of producing 83 hp of power and 113 Nm of torque. This engine is coupled to a 5 –Speed manual transmission box for improved handling and stability.Exterior changes for this model include new alloy wheel design, new front bumper, grille, restyle fog lamp housing, rear spoiler body side moulding and electrically adjustable rear view mirrors. All these new variants will be available in three new colors namely breeze blue, mystique red and granite grey. Apart from exterior Interior includes dual front bags, improved rear seating as also new Audio system, day and night inside rear view mirror, steering mounted controls and MID system. New Maruti Ritz petrol LXi worth Rs. 5.15 lakh / Ritz petrol VX (without ABS) – Rs. 5.50 lakh / Ritz petrol VX (with ABS) – Rs. 5.80 lakh / Ritz petrol ZXi – Rs. 6.24 lakh. As per mileage is concern it gives about 14.1 kmpl in the city roads and about 19.1 kmpl on the highways (as per ARAI).
