This festive season, Maruti has greeted their customer with launch of new entry level hatchback in Indian Market. They have launched new avatar of their flagship model Alto as Alto 800.

This car was one of the most awaited model from Maruti, priced aggressively, Maruti Suzuki has once again tried to reclaim their position of best seller in the national market.

The car has been launched with both Petrol and CNG version. Later being little dearer price-wise. The Petrol variant starts with Rs. 2.44 lacs for Petrol Std. Following are the prices for all petrol variants..

-Petrol Std.: Rs 2,44,000

-Petrol LX: Rs 2,76,500

-Petrol LXi: Rs 2,99,000

While the CNG + Petrol version starts with 3.19 lacs for CNG std, below we have prices of all CNG model of Maruti Alto 800.

-CNG Std.: Rs 3,19,000

-LX: Rs 3,37,000

-LXi: Rs 3,56,000

The car is built on the platform of the existing Alto. The same 796cc three-cylinder engine of the Alto with some more tweaks and optimization resides at the heart of new Alto 800. In terms of new features, the new Alto gets new interiors, vinyl seats, dual trip-meter and tubeless tyres. Along with all these features, fabric seats, air-conditioning and a remote are available in base model.

In top variant ie. LXi, you also get optional features like driver airbag, body-coloured bumpers and door handles, silver-trim on inside door handles and speedometer, metallic finish on the steering wheel, remote opening for the hatch and internally adjustable ORVMs, chrome-trim on front grille, full wheel-caps, grey or brown interior shade.

The car delivers mileage of 22.7 kilometre per litre while the CNG version approximately 30.26 kilometre per litre.
