Tata Motors have launched the smallest member of it’s family in special edition. Encumbered with a number of new exciting features worth upto Rs.25000 with no additional extra cost.
The car is available in two variants in CX and LX trims with all the colours in which the earlier nano is available in. The Special Edition is configured with special branding stickers on both side of the car, displaying “Special Edition”, a set of nice looking Alloy Wheels, and an in-car Blaupunkt audio system with MP3, iPod, USB and Aux compatibility, a glove box on either side of the centre console and a good looking yet not loud set of body decals on the doors. This new compact car is powered with a much powerful petrol engine with a displacement of 624 cc, the engine churns out a good amount of 38 PS of power instead of 35 PS along with 51 Nm of torque, which was 48 Nm in the previous model. The engine is highly fuel efficient and delivers a whopping mileage of 25.4 km per litre, which was 23.6 km per litre in the current variant.The New Tata Nano Special Edition starts at Rs. 1.56 lakh for the base model, the middle CX variant is priced at Rs. 1.86 lakh while the top-of-the-line LX variant is priced at Rs. 2.13 lakh (ex-showroom Guwahati prices).Tata Motors is also offering an exchange bonus on purchase of the Nano Special Edition of Rs 10,000 for four-wheelers and Rs 5,000 for two-wheelers. A cash bonus worth Rs 3,000 is applicable for government employees, doctors and teachers on purchase of the Tata Nano Special Edition.The Tata Nano Special Edition comes with a 4-year and 60,000km warranty.
The car will be made available in 16 states mainly in Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Gujarat, Goa, Karnataka, Kerala, Maharashtra, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim, Tripura and West Bengal and it will be interesting to see how tata makes this festive season count.
