The 2014 Aston Martin Vanquish Volante has just been spied undergoing high-paced testing at the Nurburgring recently wearing full-body camouflage.

Apart from the obvious lack of a hardtop roof, the 2014 Aston Martin Vanquish Volante will be almost identical to the coupe meaning it’ll feature the same 6.0-liter V12 engine pumping out 656hp and 457lb-ft of torque.

This power is then sent through the rear wheels through a six-speed Touchtronic 2 automatic transmission helping to rocket the coupe to 62mph in just 4.1 seconds and onto a top speed of 183mph. However, we can expect slightly slower figures for the inevitably heavier convertible.

From the Sources, we came to know about the  new generation of the Volkswagen Scirocco which will be spotted with  a front-wheel drive model but all-wheel drive might be offered as an option. The future Scirocco will ride on the MQB platform, the same one underpinning the new Golf 7, the new Audi A3 or the new Seat Leon, amongst others. The completely redesigned Scirocco will hit the market in 2015. Additional details on it remain unknown for the moment

“It must be completely different. Completely. We don’t want to repeat the body style of the Scirocco, we want to change that. At the moment, it’s only a studio [project]. It’s not defined at the moment. We are still working…but we are looking 360 degrees”, as the VW Group head of design, Walter de Silva, said.

Indian based automaker,  "Tata Motors"  has took the wraps off from it's latest innovation and unveiled it's new electric VAN concept named TATA eMO-c concept officially.

TATA motors known for it's Cheapest car innovation in the world, the Nano, and now the leading giant in automotive industry worldwide has announced to enter a new phase of development which include electric vehicles. Most of the automobile engineers around the world thought that electric car will be the future as it will be safer tool in terms of polluting environment as compare to petrol and diesel guise cars but to get such an enormous amount of electricity will be another added point in that.

However, rotating the compass towards the concept. Tata Motors eMO-c will be the first model under the electric car concept. The design specs looks like a electric van, and it can be expected it's way on to the market very soon. When asked about it's pricing, company spokesperson replied us that it will  will be priced between 15,750 USD and 23,750 USD. The eMO-C Concept was inspired by the eMO EV Concept unveiled last year and it has three battery modules, which can support a range of 50, 100 and 150 miles, respectively. The concept car meets all safety regulations for the North American market so don’t act too surprised if you will see it in a dealership near your home soon.

Recently, Government’s has raised a proposal to set up electric car charging stations at distinct places to reduce the petrol and diesel expenditure in India. Introducing the concept of placing charging stations at distinct places has now boost up the electric car markets in India. As Charging an electric car’s batteries takes about 5 to 6 hours while charging the batteries to 80% takes about 30 minutes. So, charging outlets at petrol bunks might not be very effective as an electric car owner might not have 30 minutes to spare at the petrol bunk on a daily basis. Therefore, the system of swapping batteries at charging stations would be a more viable alternative, one that has the potential to make the electric cars as practical as petrol/diesel powered ones.

A senior official in the department of heavy industries said: “To increase acceptance of electric and hybrid vehicles, it is crucial to build consumer confidence through creation of requisite infrastructure. In every city where there is a sizeable population of electric vehicles (EVs), we will provide charging points following a grid pattern. OMCs can set up charging infrastructure. It is an economically viable proposition.”

He added that the details of the investment required for setting up the charging infrastructure for EVs will be frozen over the next two months. “We are also developing a model through which we can use renewable energy for charging EVs. We can set up solar panels at charging stations and charge the cars without eating into the electricity supply. In the next one-two years, these public charging stations would be put in place”, added the official.
