Tata Group, domestic multinational conglomerate serving worldwide has launched two special edition of it’s most popular small car, “Indica Vista ” in hatchback segment. Tata Group encompasses it business sectors comprising communications and information technology, engineering, materials, services, energy, consumer products and chemicals industry.
Tata Group has introduced Vista in two new variants: New Vista D90 VX and the Vista D90 ZX+ at the Indian shores. The new Vista D90 sports Fiat’s 1.3 litre Multijet diesel engine equipped with a Variable Geometry Turbocharger (VGT) developing 90PS of power and 200NM of torque. From the Sources, we heard that D90 VX base variant will be incorporated with electric ORVMs, front and rear fog lamps, intelligent rear wiper providing driver a complete safety guage feeling free while driving in heavy rain as well in dusty areas, anti-lock brakes with electronic brake force distribution, front and rear power outlets, a double-DIN stereo with USB and Bluetooth connectivity, dual tone interiors, fabric seat covers, a driver aligned instrument cluster, a Driver Information System (DIS) with average fuel consumption and distance to empty display and a two-way adjustable lumbar support for the driver.
Rolling out it’s improved features, Tata has given the two Vista D90 models a lower-body kit with a revised front bumper, side skirts and a revised rear bumper along with a rear spoiler.
Commenting on the new VistaD90, Tata Motors President (Passenger Vehicles Business Unit) Ranjit Yadav said the car has been developed around the evolving car customers, matching the product with their demanding needs and growing aspirations.
Adding to it, Tata Motors said it will speed up the time for introduction of new products, apart from reorienting its dealer network towards better customer experience. In the past, there has been a significant gap between the introductions of new products to the market. We have recognised that and we will bring that down drastically,” Yadav told PTI. He said the company’s aim is to be number one in the long term and number two in the short to medium term, and added: “We believe that’s an achievable target… We have a number of projects in the pipeline and we are giving emphasis on faster time-to-market for new products.”
The Tata Vista D90 ZX+ top level variant will be loaded with the same VX’s features apart from a new touch-screen infotainment system featuring satellite navigation, the DIS also gets a temperature gauge, an automatic climate control system, front airbags, follow-me-home headlamps, an LED stop lamp, one-touch function for the driver’s power window and alloy wheels, aiming to serve the user best quality in terms of safety and styling under such a price tag.
The D90 ZX+ is available in a choice of five shades (Porcelain White, Spice Red, Jet Silver, Cavern Grey and Ultra Violet). Indica Vista D90 VX hatchback priced at Rs 5.99 lakh and Rs 6.83 lakh and D90 ZX+ and has been priced at Rs 6.83 lakh approximately.
