Once again, the Domestic Car Manufacturer Mahindra & Mahindra Limited, also known as one of the biggest giant in automobile industry across the globe has unveiled it’s plan to launch it’s most awaited and prestigious bike in Sports segment,”Mahindra Mojo 300CC” in the upcoming fiscal year 2013.
Mahindra has already showcased,”Mojo 300″ earlier in the year 2010 and since then expectations with the launch of this sports bike keep on delaying. Finally, Mahindra confirmed that,” Mojo 300″ is in the final stages of development and it would be ready to make it’s launch soon to create a thunder in the Indian market. The Mojo 300 is powered by a 300CC, single cylinder-four stroke engine. This engine gets a 4 valve-DOHC layout and is copulated with a 5 speed manual gearbox. This premium Sports vehicle Mojo 300 will chucked the power output nearly approx 25 BHP. Speculations towards it’s Fuel Efficiency, this Sports Vehicle will eject 25 kmpl in city and it will assimilated with 15.5 litre of fuel Capacity, 2 litre is kept as a fuel Reserve. In terms of Safety, Mojo 300 will be amassed with both front Disc and Rear Disc brakes and to blare it’s suspension a Front Inverted fork Telescopic hydraulic-damped, Rear 120 mm stroke Horizontally mounted Mono Shox, air + hydraulic damping assimilated in it’s body.
Anoop Mathur, President of two-wheeler sector and member of the group executive board, Mahindra & Mahindra stated,”We are going through testing protocols right now for the engine. We are hopeful of its launch in the next fiscal. The company is taking all possible steps to make sure that the engine, vehicle and composite are duly tested and validated before it hits the road, he said. Mahindra 2 Wheelers also plans to roll out a new model of its scooters portfolio by third quarter of next fiscal, Mathur said adding within the next fortnight, a variant of ‘Rodeo’ scooter is set to be launched.”We want our presence across segments and ranges. Our plan is to come out with new models of scooters and motor cycle at frequent intervals over the next three to five years.
Enumerating bike Dimensions, this Sportsbike will sports with 2100mm in length and 1270 mm of height. It will have 150 mm of Ground Clerance with 830 mm in width. Christening towards styling and colors, the stylish new Mahindra Mojo will be available with three exciting colors and shades. The shades are Black, Silver and Red. The body of the Mahindra Mojo will be painted with the color at the fuel tank, front tyre cover and at the front portion above halogen lamp. Other specifications of the Mojo 300 are impressive too and it will be exciting enough to target Indian buyers. The Price of the Mojo 300 is Rs 1,75,000 approx.
It will be interesting to see when Mahindra will make the launch of it’s premium sportsbike, since most of the launch are expected during this year. The much awaited KTM Duke 390 will be the first off the block, the Royal Enfield Cafe Racer 535, Kawasaki Ninja 300 R, it is also heard that Bajaj will also launch the new model of it’s premium sportsbike Pulsar 375 this year.
