Tata Motors India recently launched their much awaited SUV TATA Safari Storme. This vehicle has been priced between Rs. 9.98 Lacs rupees to Rs. 143.66 lacs and comes with both 4×2 and 4×4 version.
The vehicle has been launched in following variants:
Base 4×2 LX for Rs. 9.98 Lacs
4×2 EX for Rs. 10.77 Lacs
4×2 VX for Rs. 12.37 Lacs
4×4 VX for Rs. 13.66 Lacs

The new TATA Safari Storme uses Aria derived modern ladder-frame chassis and suspension but still looks so similar to previous TATA Safari. The new Safari boasts same 2.2 litre DICOR engine which powers current TATA Aria. The engine produces 137bhp of power mated with 5 speed manual transmission.
The new Safari comes with sets of new features including ABS standard in all variants. Also you get bluetooth enabled audio system, reverse parking sensors and lots of power sockets to give power to your ever growing list of gadgets while in the car.
Dual Airbags and Shift on the fly from 4×2 to 4×4 drive is available on top of the line VX variant. Other changes includes 4 ventilated disc brakes present in all variants of Safari Storme.
There are various noticeable changes as compared to old Safari, the spare wheel is no more mounted over rear door and also the appearance is now more with sharp edges as compared to curvy look in previous Safari. There are various other cosmetic changes including new headlamp, grill and lot more.
The launch of this vehicle was delayed and its launch was much awaited from long because and also recent launch of other SUV in Indian automobile market has increased the competition. With the launch of Safari Storme, tata is looking over No.2 slot in Indian SUV segment looking to compete with recently launched SUV like Renault Duster and Mahindra XUV 500.
