Renault Lodgy MPV coming to India

Renault, One of the most prodigious automobile manufacturer and service provider has planned to showcased it’s new MPV vehicle as,”Lodgy” probably at Delhi Auto Expo in the upcoming fiscal year 2013. Renault Lodgy is already being sold in Europe under the Dacia brand which is now owned by Renault itself.

From the Sources, we came to know that Renault will launch it’s prodigious luxury car,”lodgy” at the time when it will be showcased. Speculations about it’s powertrain, Lodgy will be powered with K9K 1.5 litre diesel engine, same as we have seen in Renault’s Duster. It will boasts up with 1461cc four pot turbo diesel engine will be mated to a six speed manual gearbox and would power the front wheels, it will claims to deliver tremendous power as high as 108.4 bhp at 4,000 and a maximum torque of 247 Nm at 2250 rpm. Specifying towards it’s dimensions, Renault Lodgy MPV will feature 4500 mm in length and 1750 mm in width and seems very spacious on the inside with flexible 7-seat configuration. It is heard, that the Renault Lodgy will be equipped with astonishing features at front end, a very plain side profile and a quirky rear end. It is also heard that, Renault Lodgy will sports upswept headlamps and large grille that are likely to be redesigned for India. At the rear, the most striking parts of the design are the tail-lamps on the pillars which have an oddly-hexagonal pattern to them. The large rear hatch will help in easy loading of luggage in this flexible MPV.

Dealing with it’s Interiors, the Lodgy will go down well with Indian buyers as they are practical and more spacious. The third row in the Lodgy will be featured with more space. It will be fold flat and there is a roller parcel tray in case you don’t want your luggage to be seen. With all rows up, there will be some boot space for luggage. The layout of the dashboard is simple and practical, and there will be quite a few storage spaces such as deep door pockets and cubby holes on the dash too.
