One of the biggest Iconic ultra-luxury car maker Rolls-Royce has introuduced a special wedding edition of the two salons which it sells in India are – the Ghost and the Phantom – to make India’s super-rich a luxury feel to celebrate on. Since, it has been observed that almost a tenth of its cars that are sold in India are gifted largely during the wedding season, Rolls Royce has launched an especially hand-crafted model to in-cash such occasions.
The Rolls-Royce Phantom is a luxury sedan with levels of opulence, prestige and grandiosity dialed up to the maximum degree. Its imposing exterior, which was revised for the latest model year with new bumpers and foglights, imparts elegance and aggression in equal measures. Looking much like the façade of an ancient Greek temple (the two are also similar in scale), an oversized grille highlights the front of the Phantom.Having sold over 200 cars in India since 2005, Rolls Royce sees potential to sell sell 130 to 150 cars annually by 2015.
It is crowned by Rolls-Royce’s distinctive Spirit of Ecstasy badge, which can be retracted at the touch of a button to protect it against thieves, souvenir-seekers and disgruntled 99 percenters. Apart from choosing their own colours and veneers, customers can have special engraving in specific places within the interiors with their names embossed.Rolls Royce currently sells the Ghost salon for between 2.5 and 3 crore and its flagship model Phantom for around 4.5 crore.
