Bajaj Avenger 220: Friction sound problem?
« on: November 27, 2012, 12:24:50 PM »
Hi,
I owe personally many bikes, but the one which i used mainly for long drive is bajaj avenger 220. I bought it in september 2010, it has crossed around 20,000 kms. I maintained it alot, and recently i changed the clutch plates and handle cone in servicing. After that there is a friction sound ('m not quite sure where it is exactly coming from because it's hard to determine while in motion.). I doubt it may be coming from the clutch or is it the chain (the mechanic says so)? Also the bike looses its power suddenly at speeds above 50 but regains it in 2-3 seconds. Please suggest what to do?

Also suggest a good engine oil for the bike. I currently use Motul 3000 4T.
