BMW, one of the largest and premium manufacturer in luxury cars has launched their most prestigious element in X series in India named,"BMW X1" in the Indian market.
Available in three trim levels and only in diesel, the new X1 will take on the likes of the Audi Q3 and upcoming Volvo V40 Cross Country. On the outside, BMW has made slight styling enhancements on the X1, starting with LED corona rings on the headlamps, new air dams, chrome finish on the higher trims and a new bumper.
Under the hood BMW has plonked in a tweaked variant of the 2.0-litre 4-cylinder diesel engine which now produces 184 PS of power and also gets a new 8-speed automatic box. All the X1 variants now come with Eco Pro mode and brake energy recuperation as standard and BMW claims improved fuel efficiency as well.
