German’s leading luxury car manufacturer worldwide has launched it’s new entrant named, ” Audi R8 V10 Plus” introduced as second addition under the company’s prodigious series of luxury cars, the “R8 family” in the Indian market. Audi R8 V10 Plus is packed up with high end specifications and exciting features.
Just a few months ago, Audi launched the first entrant under the R8 family known as, “Audi R8” and now with Audi R8 V10 Plus it’s looks like company is strongly aiming to rule the market of luxury car segment in the India. Audi R8 V10 Plus has been claimed by the company as the most powerful trim of the R8 model and it has been debuted at Gautam Buddha International Circuit, Greater Noida.
In terms of Specifications, this beast ie. Audi R8 V10 plus is powered by a 5200cc V10 engine producing a mammoth power of 404kW @8000rpm and a torque of 540Nm @6500rpm mated to a 7 speed S Tronic gearbox. In terms of speed, it delivers an extremely fast output by touching 0-100 kmph in just 3.5 seconds which is 0.4 seconds faster as compare to Audi R8 and a top speed of 317 kmph ( 3 kmph faster than the R8).
“I am confident that this high performance super sports car will allow us to further build upon our leadership position in the super sports car segment in India and maintain the iconic position of the R8 in India,” Audi India Head Michael Perschke said. “Going forward this year, we will see couple of our performance cars from the global portfolio coming to India,” Perschke added. Audi markets various luxury vehicles in the country including Audi R8, Audi R8 Spyder, Audi Q3, Audi Q5 and Audi Q7.
From the Sources, we came to know that at this occasion in the morning event, “Karun Chandhok set a lap time of 2:12.711 in the new Audi R8 V10 plus which is now officially registered as the most fastest lap time by a production car”. Looking up to it’s exteriors, Audi R8 V10 Plus include a new set of LED headlights and glossy black paint on its single frame grille, besides LED indicators in tail lights which swipe the direction of turning as against a persistent flash.
The price of Audi R8 V10 Plus comes at a hefty price tag of Rs 2.05 crore which is almost Rs 50 lakh more than the Audi R8.
