Introducing the facelifted version of it’s most budget 7 seater vehicle named, “Eeco Van” which has been debuted in the year 2010 has now makes it’s official comeback with some new advancement along with a new named titled as, ” Maruti Suzuki, “Eeco Smiles” in the Indian market.

Maruti Suzuki Eeco Van has just received some few cosmetic changes. Specifying it’s Uplifts, Maruti Suzuki Eeco Smile will be spotted with a newly installed double-din music system complete with USB connectivity, two speakers added in multimedia advancement of the car. In terms of Interior, it has been injected with dual tone seat covers and black floor mats which added the luxurious feel to make the passenger more comfortable and serve huge pleasure. Briefing towards it’s exterior changes, the Eeco Smiles gets full wheel covers, mud flaps and some exclusive decal as well as graphics both on the side and at the back.

At the Occasion, some of the auto analysts also said that the Maruti Suzuki is still continuing with great optimism in 2013 after witnessing the economic slowdown and muted market conditions. Launching a new variant of Eeco is not the first move of Maruti Suzuki to boost its sales in the Indian auto market as the auto maker was earlier offering its Swift diesel hatchback without any waiting period. Besides, the auto company was also offering its Ritz hatchback with a discounted price of up to Rs. 45,000 in order to lure a large number of buyers across its stand.

However specifications towards it’s powertrain kept are same with no changes spotted. Maruti Suzuki Eeco Smile is powered with the same 1.2 liter petrol engine,Maruti Suzuki is also offering a CNG kit option. Its 1.2 liter 1196 petrol engine offers maximum power output of 73 bhp and 101 Nm of peak torque. Enumerating it’s mileage, company officials claims that it will chunk out around 15 kmpl and the other option that is through CNG kit it will deliver a promising mileage of 20 kms/kg. However, we get to know that all these advancements can be availed at an extra price of Rs. 9,490 (market price of the accessories is Rs. 15,000) on the selected variant and is a limited period offer.

The Eeco smile five-seater with and without air-conditioning has been priced at Rs. 3.63 lakh and 3.32 lakh respectively while the seven seater without air-conditioning is priced at Rs. 3.49 lakh.
