Living up to it’s virtue by fascinating the car lovers with artisitc genres equipped with sophisticated styling and features in cars, “Maruti Suzuki” has rolled away the covers from their all time favourite sedan named,”Maruti Suzuki SX4″ with some uplifts in the Indian market.
It is apparent that reason behind launch of new SX4 facelifted version is to improve the car sales in the current fiscal year. Rotating the steering towards the specifications, new Maruti Suzuki SX4 is offered with the same three engine gauge which incorporates 1.6 liter petrol, 1.6 Liter petrol-CNG engine and 1.3 Liter turbo diesel engine. Specifying it’s Output, the 1.6 litre petrol gauge (1598 CC) pumps out a peak power of 103.3bhp at 5600 rpm along with a highest torque delivery of 145 Nm at 4100 rpm whereas the 1.3 Litre (1248 CC) diesel engine will churns out maximum power and torque output equations of 88.8 bhp at 4000 rpm and 200 Nm at 1750 rpm respectively. All these three engines are mated with 5 speed manual gearbox as standard whereas the company has also encumbered the pertol engine with a new variant of optional 4 speed automatic gearbox. Looking towards the engine capacity it will surely offer the buyer a pleasure of overwhelmed riding experience.
Getting into the nerves of uplifts and opening the interior specifications, Maruti Suzuki SX4 receives a new amazing and astonishing looking neutral dual color designed theme of black and beige. The dashboard is replenished with a classy black polish which adds the luxury appeals from all the angles. Seats are also undergone with uplifts and refurbished with beige upholstery to create a new majestic imperial image. On the outside, the new SX4 now fitted with a huge bumper with 2-tone front grille, fog lamp with dual-tone garnish and two new colour options- Serene Blue and Granite Grey. Length of the car has also increases up to 10 mm as the automotive gets fitted by a new bumper design.
Speaking on launch of the new 2013 SX4 facelift in a press statement, Manohar Bhat, Vice President, Marketing, Maruti Suzuki India Limited, was quoted as saying, “The all new Maruti Suzuki SX4 has new looks, and also brings new features such as touch screen audio navigation and electronically foldable ORVMs (Outer Rear View Mirrors) with turn indicator.” In all fairness, the SX4 facelift features cosmetic changes in both interior and exterior attributes, whereas under-the-hood specifications remain the same.
Briefing it’s fuel efficiency, company claims that the 2013 SX4 petrol will returns nearly 16.51kmpl of mileage with improvement of 6 per cent as compare to the previous one while the 1.3-litre turbo diesel powered version promises to return an impressive 21.79kmpl. The CNG option returns a fuel efficiency of 22.1 km/kg.
Specifying it’s price tag, Maruti Suzuki SX4 in petrol range including CNG has been priced from Rs. 7.38 to 8.84 lakh approximately, whereas the diesel line up is priced within Rs. 8.27 to 9.79 lakh.
