Bajaj Auto, an Indian motorized vehicle-producing company and the world third largest manufacturer’s of motorcycles(Second largest in India) has dispatched a new version of it’s one of the highest selling commuter under 100CC segment Bajaj Discover 100 CC in it’s new avatar as,”Bajaj Discover 100 T” her T exemplify Touring, under domestic hub.
From the last four years, Bajaj Auto has completely changed it’s charged figure from a scooter manufacturer to a two-wheeler manufacturer and now it’s product range encompasses scooterettes, scooters and motorcycles. Enumerating towards it’s Powertrain, Bajaj Discover 100 T as the name suggests equipped with 100 CC, 4-valve DTS-i engine which is first time embedded in any commuter motorcycle falling under 100CC segment in the country, 5- speed gear box for peaceful riding and superior fuel efficiency, it delivers 10.2 Ps power for providing extraordinary riding pleasure. Specifying towards it’s Top Speed, company claims this bike will deliver a top-speed of 100 kph and it also armed with Auto Choke that would offer convenience of easy start in all weather conditions. Allocating towards it’s Safety and Comfort measure, this bike is dubbed with a Gas-filled Nitrox suspension for a cushioned ride over the toughest of roads, Semi Double Cradle chassis with DC headlamps, flicker-free lighting even at low speeds. However, its a commuter bike , electric start is kept as standard on all models.
Elaborating on the company strategy, K Srinivas, President (Motorcycle Business) stated, “For too long, the average commuter had to be satisfied with boring and undifferentiated 100cc bikes. While 100cc bikes do offer good mileage, their style, features and performance leave a lot to be desired. The steady growth of the more expensive 100cc bikes at the cost of the cheaper models is a clear evidence of this”. He continued, “The all new Discover 100T delivers the power of a 125cc with the economy of a 100cc to bring in the joy of riding to this segment. We call it the ‘The Ultimate 100’ as it brings unprecedented levels of power, style and features to this important segment of the market.”
Enumerating towards it’s Styling, Bajaj Discover 100 T feature with Chiseled, muscular tank, agreessive stylish sharp edged headlamp, 10- spoke new design alloy wheels adding glittering view towards the body. In terms of colors, Bajaj Discover 100 T will be made available in four colors- Flame Red, Brilliant Blue, Black Red and Black Blue. The price of Bajaj Discover 100 T is marked at Rs. 50,500.
